Sony has partnered with tech leasing service Raylo to supply a rental scheme for PlayStation 5 {hardware} within the UK through its Flex program.
Clients can have the flexibility to lease PS5 consoles and different equipment for no upfront price with both a versatile month-to-month rolling plan that may be cancelled at any time, or a set interval.
The versatile month-to-month rolling plan is the most costly, with rental costs lowering with the 12, 24, and 36-month lease choices.
{Hardware} accessible to hire contains:
- PS5 Digital Version with one controller (ranging from £10.99)
- PS5 Digital Version with two controllers (ranging from £13.49)
- PS5 Slim (ranging from £11.99)
- PS5 Professional (ranging from £18.95)
- PS Portal (ranging from £6.49)
- PS VR2 (ranging from £18.49)
- DualSense Edge Wi-fi Controller (ranging from £7.99)

On its support page, Sony clarified that as these are leases, clients don’t personal the console.
“You may have the choice to return, improve or you’ll have the choice to buy the machine on the finish of your lease, topic to Raylo’s discretion and pricing at the moment,” it notes.
Gadgets rented by Raylo have a lifetime guarantee, so if the {hardware} fails or is broken it may be “repaired and changed at no extra price.”
